GIVE GOD A CHANCE

 

The journey of life propels people to move to a certain direction and take vital decisions that finetune their ultimate destination over a period of time. Some of these decisions are taken out of curiosity whiles others are inspired by the intellectual knowledge acquired in school. 

Regardless of the source of every decision taken, there are definite consequences that follow right after. The mistake people mostly make is taking God out of the equation when deciding on various vital issues of their lives. The analogy that experience is the best teacher in life is not always applicable when it comes to certain delicate issues of life.

One must understand that life itself is spiritual and that there’s always the need to inundate your spiritual understanding of circumstances of life. There are situations that require a higher force of nature to resolve it. Sometimes after applying all the mental knowledge all to no avail, people simply give up without consulting the guidance of God. 

People seem to be so self-dependent to the extent, they feel they can do everything all by themselves. The fact remains; no matter how strong and intelligent a man may be, he will still need God’s influence at a point in time to continue the journey of life.

For many, life is full of mysteries and uncertainties simply because that is all their natural minds have been fed with. They suddenly face some overwhelming challenges, and they resort to the weakly option of giving up in life. This mostly happen to people who have not given God a chance in their lives to be the driver and chief pilot through this journey of life. 

Life truly becomes gloomy without the light and direction of God showing you the path of success. A lot of people miss their way and give up on their dreams because of their lack of the God factor that is the master key to greatness. If only people will give God a chance, their lives would be totally transformed.

A lot of people seem to forget about the existence of God until trouble strikes and they have nowhere to run to for help. That’s the only point they begin to appreciate the power of God to transform every one of life’s situations. It’s really not worth it to wait till your situation gets worse before running back to God. 

It’s interesting to note that God has always been waiting for man’s company and relationship. He has always been willing to offer help. However, it is sad that people have turned deaf ears to his invitation. Nonetheless, now is the time to commit every area of your life to God to grant you wisdom and direction to progress and succeed in this ‘crazy world.

WE ARE IN THE DAYS OF POWER

The earnest expectation of all creation has always been the desire to be in total control of power over all things in the earth. 

The main reason why people will decide to venture into a particular place or industry is mostly to have full control and dominance to influence a lot of people to be disciples of their ideology. 

Since time immemorial, we realize the walk with the Lord has always been about the demonstration of his power over circumstances and people over the earth.

 Many Christians have managed to operate in a dimension of that power for the years and centuries. However, many more Christians are craving and yet to actualize the reality of the power that is and has always been available to them since the new birth. 

In a critical look at the current happenings in some places of worship which in this context may be called the church, the sad reality is; some professed Christians have made the power of the dark world become the object and subject of their focus instead of setting their gaze on the incomparable power of the Almighty God they serve.

 People spend hours simply by praying against a demonic force that they feel is haunting their progress in life instead of having quality time of fellowship with the Lord. 

Such people have been infused with so much fear in their hearts to an extent, they barely believe the genuine power of God can completely overcome and overhaul any sort of demonic alter.

 It is about time children of God normalize having quality time of intimacy with the Lord through intense moments of prayer, worship and exaltation. 

This is the set time to have a sincere deep hunger and desire for the presence and power of God to be made manifest in the lives of Christians. 

The will of God can only be fulfilled when Christians know the essence of God's presence and power which creates a conducive atmosphere for the impossible to be made possible. 

 You can't fulfil God's promise until you realize who you are and how much of power God has given to you in Christ Jesus. We are in a generation where only genuine supernatural power can cause the magnitude of change required to advance God's kingdom ideology in the earth. 

 You can preach the word of God as expected but without the demonstration of God's power, there can't be massive impartation of lives. People believe more of the Jesus you are preaching when they can visually see His manifestation in your life.

 Until you become a testimony of the message of salvation, you can't win many souls to Christ. Everybody in every aspect of life from politics to football, music, movie, arts et al, is all craving to command power and authority over others. This is why Christians must arise and take up their place of power and win the attention of people from the above mention industries. 

One certain way of operating in God's power is your ability to tarry in prayer and stand in his presence for long. The more of intimacy you build with the Lord, the more of his authority you carry to dominate your world.

 We are living in the days of power and God is calling on us to have fellowship, build intimacy and boldly operate with his unique power to save souls from the pit of hell. 

 As a child of God, the power you carry is questionable if you cannot cause many people to convert to Christ. What is the essence of your power if you cannot win souls for God? 

 Again, we are in the days of power and God is expecting his people to put his word and power to action. There is no time to joke around. This is the season and moment of power. Shalom!

DON’T MAKE YOUR PASTORS DEMIGODS – PROPHET KOFI ODURO

The Head Pastor of Alabaster International Ministry (AIM), Prophet Kofi Oduro, has entreated his members to avoid making their pastors demigods by over-relying on them for prayers.

Preaching at a midweek service last Wednesday, the vibrant preacher cautioned the congregation to put a stop to the habit of leaving the aspect of prayer to only pastors.

Prophet Oduro added that, it’s good to share an issue with your pastor but it is far better to grow from that level to a point where you can tarry in your prayer closet.

“We need prophets, pastors, apostles, teachers and evangelists in our lives but we must understand that they are not God. They cannot take the place of God in our lives,” Prophet Oduro admonished.

The Prophet further condemned the habit of Christians securing visas to travel all the way to South Africa and other countries just to receive a miracle, whereas God has made provision for his children to have direct access to him anytime.

“Christians of today have become like sheep without a shepherd and are just moving from one church to the other in quest of a breakthrough, instead of building a strong relationship with God,” he exclaimed.

The AIM head pastor also admonished men of God to blatantly entreat their members to know the need of reverencing God as the only one that can be relied upon in time of need, and not any pastor or prophet.

The message was received with jeers and hand offering as the service concluded with a corporate prayer for the nation, Ghana

BE FAITHFUL TO YOUR SPOUSES – PROPHET KOFI ODURO

The Head Pastor of Alabaster International Ministry (AIM), Prophet Kofi Oduro has cautioned married members of his congregation to learn to be faithful to their spouses at all times.

In a midweek service last Wednesday, Prophet Oduro vehemently warned married folks to stay away from the temptation of cheating on their spouses because of a situation they might be enduring.

To the wives, Prophet Oduro said, “Submit to your husbands. No matter how bad a situation you might be going through in marriage, stop comparing your marriage to others as it is only a temptation for you to sin.”

To the husbands, he cautioned them to stay away from any other sexual relationship outside of the marriage, as it is against the will of God.

The vociferous preacher stressed on the need for marriage people to control their pleasure as inability to do so will destroy a lifetime investment and sacrifices.

“Life is too short to waste and the only reason we are here on earth is to fulfill the purpose of God for our lives,” he added.

The AIM head pastor reminded the congregation that their destiny which is tied to their purpose has duration or a deadline, and that is the more reason why they must be extremely careful with whatever decision they make.

Prophet Kofi Oduro however used the occasion to send his condolences to the family of the late Ayawaso West Wuogon MP, Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko, who passed away a few weeks ago.

80% OF GHANAIAN GOSPEL MUSICIANS ARE WAYWARD – PROPHET ODURO

The Head Pastor of Alabaster International Ministry (AIM), Prophet Kofi Oduro, has made a shocking revelation that over 80% percent of Ghanaian gospel musicians are living a wayward life.

Preaching at a midweek service at the Tesano branch of his church, Prophet Oduro compared the impact of Nigerian Gospel musicians to that of Ghanaians and concluded that the Ghanaians have lost their way and need repentance now.

“Nigerian gospel musicians are more serious and spiritual than Ghanaians and that‘s why they are making a lot of impact all over the world,” he said.

The ever energetic preacher stressed on the fact that, so many Ghanaian gospel musicians go to programs and spend several months with their girlfriends while their wives are left at home.

Prophet Oduro reminded his congregation that the late Ebony was gifted with a very wonderful voice and so being a gospel musician is not all about your voice.

“It is great to have a good voice but my focus is about the gospel of Jesus being preached in songs. Gospel musicians are not doing much to propagate the gospel in their songs,” Prophet Oduro bemoaned.

The AIM head pastor added the that obsession of trying to possess all sort of worldly materials, as well as sexual pleasure, has been the downfall of a lot of local gospel musicians, and it is time they turn back to God.

The service was concluded with an extensive prayer for parliamentarians and the leaders of Ghana to be protected and guided by the Lord to lead to the nation to their God-ordained destination.
